Super Bowl LIX (59) starts with the Flip Coin! This is the same coin that will be used for the Official Coin Toss to start the game. This is a unique limited edition minted coin measuring 39mm in diameter and plated with .999 fine silver then selectively plated with 24kt gold. The Flip Coin is minted on one side with the official Super Bowl LIX logo as well as the commissioners signature and the other side is minted with the dueling logos of the Super Bowl teams. Each Flip coin is individually numbered on the coin, protected in a clear capsule to preserve its condition, accompanied by a matching numbered certificate of authenticity and delivered in a 4"x6" suede booklet only used for this coin. Disappointed

I purchased two SB 59 (LIX) game coins. I was disappointed with the stampings and presentation. I had purchased 2 coins for SB 52 (LII) and they presented well so I expected the same - the recent coins were different in 2 ways:
- the coin had the LII face showing when you one up the presentation case, and
- the orientation/alignment of the 2 coin faces were quite good.
Neither of these applied to the LIX coins. I alerted Highland Mint. They responded that this was the way the NFL provided them and even an exchange for different coins would be of no use.
