The Washington Capitals 50th Anniversary is commemorated with the minting of this 39mm gold plated coin for its golden anniversary.  The obverse of the coin is minted with the Capitals official 50th Anniversary logo. A limited edition of only 1974 each coin is individually numbered on its edge, protected in a clear capsule to preserve its condition and delivered in a collector's jewelry case.
