This updated court prominently displays plaid patterns—an homage to legendary coach Jack Ramsay, who led the Blazers to their 1977 championship. Plaid has become a recurring motif in the team’s aesthetic, paying tribute to Portland's unique culture​.

Through a partnership with Nike and Portland Parks & Recreation, they are working to refresh local community courts, making basketball accessible to more residents.
